 Medical Assistance - Assist Card will provide the Card Holder with essential medical assistance wherever he may be, either organizing a visit to the doctor's office or sending a doctor to the hotel, or an ambulance if required. In case specialized consultation is necessary, we arrange appointments with qualified specialists in cardiology, surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, etc. Also we will make the necessary arrangements for clinical studies, X rays, lab analysis as well as we will proceed with hospitalization, if required, at the most-qualified medical center.

Pharmaceutical Assistance - Assist Card will pay for the medications prescribed by the attending physician. The medication expenses will be doubled if the medications are provided while the Card Holder is hospitalized according to the type of Card purchased.

Odontological Assistance - In case of an acute dental problem, such as an infection, pain or trauma, ASSIST-CARD will provide the Card Holder with emergency treatment by a qualified dentist.

Medical Transfers - When required, the Card Holder will be transferred by ambulance, plane or helicopter to the medical center best qualified for treatment according to its specialization level, medical technology and professional quality.

Medical Repatriation - In case of serious illness or an accident, ASSIST-CARD will arrange for the Card Holder 's return to his country of residence. ASSIST-CARD will provide air transportation, specialized equipment and professional intensive care staff required for this medical air evacuation.

Transfer and Accompaniment of Minors -Should a Card Holder be travelling alone with minor(s) and must be hospitalized, ASSIST-CARD will provide a professional baby sitter to accompany the minor(s) while a direct family member arrives, at the expense of ASSIST-CARD to take the minor(s) back.

Hotel Expenses - If the ASSIST-CARD Medical Team prescribes that after hospitalization the card holder must convalesce in a hotel, we will reimburse the accommodation charges for 7 days.

Reimbursement of Expenses Due to Delayed or Cancelled Flight - In the event the card holder's flight is delayed or cancelled, ASSIST-CARD will reimburse his/her communications, accommodation and meal charges.

Return Trip - If the card holder is traveling with a ticket with a limited or a fixed date of usage and must return earlier or later due to illness or the death of an immediate family member in hie/her country of residence, ASSIST-CARD will pay the fare difference or provide a new ticket.

| Repatriation of Remains - ASSIST-CARD will organize and pay for the transportation costs of the repatriation of the Card Holder's mortal remains to his city of residence. We will provide assistance to obtain the necessary documentation and authorizations for the repatriation of the Card Holder 's body. ASSIST-CARD will also coordinate, together with the Card Holder's family members and local providers, the necessary preparations of the remains for transportation or proceed with cremation, as well as organize his/her transportation and reception at the airport in the country of residence. |
