Bridge of Remembrance

It is a monument located in Christchurch at Cashel Street Bridge. The bridge was suggested by Mrs. Wyn Irwin, who was the wife of a school teacher. To design the bridge there was a competition organized and it was an architectural company from Wellington who won the bridge was designed by the architects Prouse and Grummer and was constructed by D. Scott and son.
